A Love Story, Lindenfeld

In Frankfurt, year 2005, Ulrich (Ully) Winkler – the president of a large company – sees on TV a story about a former German village from Banat. This village is Lindenfeld, the place where Ulli was born and lived until 1945.
After watching this show, six decades after he ran to Germany and earned a fortune, trying to erase his links with Romania, Ulli decides that together with Boris, his old servant and faithful friend, will go to Lindenfeld hoping to find Helga, his lover from his youth. What happens next is a bitter sweet story, filled with tragicomic moments.
